Postage and Handling

How postage is calculated

Rainbow Crystal calculates the postage and handling on every order based on Australia Post rates. The rates are based on the total weight of the order.

The postage rate is calculated at the end of your order and displayed before you finalise your order. When you finalise your order you agree to the terms and conditions of purchase including postage and handling costs.

All Australian orders attract a $2 handling fee on top of the Australa Post Postage Rate. (Built into postage cost when finalising each order)

All overseas orders attract a $5 handling fee on top of the Australia Post Postage Rate. (Built into postage cost when finalising each order).

Options also exist for Express Post and Postage Insurance. These options will also effect the final cost of postage.

Postage Times

All orders are processed within 48 hours of payment being recieved (and cleared if paying via cheque). Australia Post times apply to all purchases. Approx times are 5 - 10 working days for normal post, 3 - 5 days for express post. Longer times apply for overseas orders, up to 28 days.

Insurance

When finalising your payment you will have the option to select postal insurance. We recommend this option be selected as Rainbow Crystal will take no responsibility for lost or damaged goods where insurance was not selected.

Australian Delivery

Please note that domestic orders are sent via Australia Post. All orders must include a daytime delivery address and contact details. Please note that we are unable to accept orders to P.O. Box numbers.

Delivery Delays

Unforseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. Should there be a delay in despatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay. You may cancel such an order at any time prior to processing.

International Ordering

International orders are traceable to the point where they have left Australia. The delivery of these orders are subsequently reliant on overseas postal services. The RAINBOW CRYSTAL Shop will provide as much assistance as possible in tracing misdirected items but cannot be responsible for items lost by overseas postal services.

Additional Identification

Some international orders may require additional identification before being processed. The transmission of this information to RAINBOW CRYSTAL may affect estimated delivery times. RAINBOW CRYSTAL reserves the right to request additional identification prior to processing orders originating outside Australia.

Customs and International Duty

While Australian tax (G.S.T.) is removed from all international orders please be aware that your order may be subject to local Custom's duties and/or local taxes in the country of destination. Please check with your local authority to ascertain applicable rates. Any additional charge must be borne by the recipient.
